“ First of all none of us are vegan! I actually thought this was a regular sushi restaurant but that didn't matter because all the food here is fabulously delicious. We had 6 in our party and the place is small but the accommodated us promptly. I had spicy ramen and my wife had tonkatsu and others in our party had sushi rolls. I did not believe it but food was very flavorful. I would definitely return! ”

“ I'm pretty sure this is the location I went to? Anyway, I love that this place exists - ALL VEGAN! - and I hope to make it back sometime though it's not on any of my regular routes. Banh mi was amazing, will definitely get that again next time. All the food was good, but the banh mi was just out of this world! The sushi was my #2 favorite - we got the salmon avocado roll. The creamy miso ramen wasn't quite as flavorful as I would have wanted, but still good. The dumplings, also good, but I found myself wishing they were fried / crispy instead of the boiled kind. Next time I'll try the bao too. ”

“ Really tasty vegan sushi, ramen, and dumplings with a lunch special that eases the wallet damage. We stopped in for a late lunch on a Tuesday, just in time to take advantage of their lunch special: $19 for any of their three ramens, or a choice of 2 items from their dumplings, sushi, and side dishes. I got the sesame miso ramen (ordinarily $24), which comes with dark soy roasted "chicken" -- which had a remarkably realistic texture and was very well-marinated -- along with a big piece of bok choy, marinated shiitake mushrooms, a vegan soft-boiled egg, and well-cooked noodles. Everything was great about this except the broth, honestly -- which lacked depth and complexity; it was just a simple miso broth really. The broth needs work, but the toppings and noodles were top-quality. My wife got the mighty mushroom roll and the five-spice chicken dumplings, both of which were fantastic. The dumplings had great, chewy wrappers, filled with minced "chicken", and coated in this delectable yuzu-soy glaze. The mushroom rolls were filled with shiitake mushrooms and topped with this delicious mushroom truffle sauce. Tasty stuff. Friendly service, comfortable though small place that can probably get cramped. Recommended spot. ”

“ [updated] FOOD - spicy mang roll (8/10): black rice roll filled with avocado and cucumber and topped with shredded mango with a side of cayenne sauce. There is a good reason why this is one of their classic rolls. Visually, the black rice makes it stunning when contrasted with the vibrant mango and avocado. It also has a nice amount of spice from the topping and the sauce. I would recommend getting this along with another item as it was not super filling on its own. - oshizushi spicy salmon (10/10): pressed rice topped with spicy salmon, lime, scallions, and truffle caviar with a side of smoked pepper sauce. This dish was one of the best vegan sushi i have ever eaten. The salmon has a slight sweet yet salty taste that seems to mimic what real salmon would taste like. The part that made the dish was the small lime on the top. I thought it would be too acidic but it actually added a nice brightness. Definitely a must order item! ”

“ Very good sushi.. fully vegan. Excellent service (person taking our ph order was polite and efficient) and good ambience. Many mock meat heavy options but felt great eating here knowing that everything was vegan. Asked for a side of plain rice for my toddler but was given lime-flavored rice... other than that, all else was great. Enjoyed the nutty buddy (peanut butter) wrap and the spicy mang roll (mango sushi). Tasty & fresh. Would return! ”

“ Beyond sushi went BEYOND my expectations. The business is small but clean, cozy and well taken care of. Great for groups (which I was in) just make sure to come at the right time or call ahead. The attention to detail here is great. The staff is super attentive, helpful and welcoming. It was my first time trying out anything meatless and I will be sticking to this diet. “ 3.75/5 stars! Great decor and chic/fun place for groups to meet up for dinner. We ordered a lot of food for 5 people and the cost ended up being $20/person. The sake was good but disappointing with quantity and how it already came poured in a glass. Nutty buddy rolls were incredible and 4.5/5 stars Spicy mango rolls disappointing without much mango taste and not spicy. 2.5/5 stars Sweet tree rolls tasted nice and the sweet potato was delicious but nothing too crazy. Nice innovation though. 4/5 stars Coconut curry was delicious! 4.5/5 stars Crispy rice sushi was disappointing and tasted weird. 2/5 stars Service was excellent and the server explained the entire menu to us. They were quick to fill water and assist/answer questions as needed. I'd come back for the some of the food if I needed a reservation for large group. But definitely worth trying out. ”
